I've just been to a wonderfully relaxing yoga class, it was the perfect amount of effort to ease and my body really opened up and I could feel my breath returning to its full expansiveness.
I was, however, slightly challenged by being able to smell the stale aftereffects of someone's large night, stale cigarette smoke, alcohol and obviously this morning's coffee to get them out of bed. So my battle was trying to relax in my poses whilst taking nice deep breaths and not being offended by what I could smell. A real challenge this morning I can tell you.
Eventually though I either got used to it (yuck) or I managed to focus my mind on the present and what I was doing in my practice instead of what I could smell.
Next time I'll be sure to place myself somewhere different in the classroom.
