ASTROLOGY - ONE OF THE SACRED MYSTERIES

I’ve ALWAYS loved the sacred mysteries. For astrology, it didn’t help that it was just simplified down to the 12 Sun Signs - that sort of belittles the depth of it.

Well, I’ve been bringing it back into my life. It feels the balance is off-kilter and whilst I love science as it's also fascinating, I believe we have lost a great art that needs to be reacknowledged more deeply in our lives.

Did you know that ruling parties made decisions based on what the planets were doing, through from royalty to the church? It was one of the great sciences in the mystery schools. It was honoured and revered. Then Newton came along and it fell out of favour for a much more science-based approach.

WHAT ARE THE PLANETS DOING?

So back to today, the Full Moon in Aries. Planets are moving through Virgo. Wow, intensity, hello!

Mars (masculine) & Venus (feminine) are conjunct (completion of one cycle and beginning anew). This speaks of relationships.

Pluto is square to the Full Moon and Jupiter is moving into Scorpio.

Pls note, I am only giving you some highlights so we can dive into the meanings.

WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?

VIRGO

Virgo represents a desire for everything to be perfect so be careful of diving into feelings of unworthiness. It’s a call to get things done. it is service and giving. You know the “I’m not good enough’ stories.

The tendency to overwork, procrastinate, spend too much time on something to make it ‘just right’ is very present.

ARIES

Mind you don’t lose yourself in that. Also because of where Saturn is there’s a lot of judgement around - of yourself, of others. Really try not to get lost in guilt, shame, the unworthiness of it all.

This is a call to be patient with everyone including yourself. It is also a call not to run away and escape because it’s all too hard. Find your balance.

FULL MOON IN ARIES

The Full Moon is in Aries, be careful not to fall into the narcissistic trap of it all being about you, there's real potential for that to happen. Now another one of the traits of Aries is speed, everything happens quickly, notice how technology feeds into that - we get so much instant gratification these days.

You want a book - go online - done. We get annoyed when books aren’t available immediately, we have become so used to this instant gratification.

Watch out for this tendency to lose patience, to want everything right now and to give up if you don’t get it. You have time.

Steady yourself and get ready for the ride. Things don’t happen overnight. Aries is testing you out, how aware are you of the ability to be patient?

SATURN

Then with Saturn involved, we are being reminded to STEP UP, grow up and whilst Virgo wants us to get it done perfectly it’s an intense time!

It’s time for perspective, to purify our lives, our systems, our work life - this is the time to purge and purify.

Take a good honest look at what is and isn’t working. Take yourself on that journey. You might be finding it is already happening. Take ownership of where you want to be, how you want your life to look, who you want in it, how you want to feel, who you want to work with… you get the idea. PURGE.

JUPITER

Now the next thing that’s happening is Jupiter moves into Scorpio and the Full Moon squares Pluto. Ready… we are entering a period of transformation - a time to surrender and release to forces bigger than we can understand.

This process is happening for the GOOD, so we can be True, to be ourselves.

Then relationships - whether to one significant other, your family, the world around you - pick it up and go for it.

Look in the mirror so you can see what deeper issues need resolving and clearing. What shadow work do you need to do? What is suppressed in you?

STEPPING UP AND GROWING UP

This is a very good time to do this work. It’s going to happen anyway so you may as well get involved.

I highly recommend putting the time into your work, stepping up to do what you do - the fact is we are NEVER READY, so just start.

Be objective, have discernment, acknowledge the effect of your thoughts, words and deeds on yourself and others.

Clean up your thought patterns, your habitual patterns that aren’t serving you (you’ll know which ones), really look at your life with discrimination and discernment.

Take ownership. Have integrity. Ask yourself where am I not living in alignment?

How you are in the world ripples out on so many levels. So when you find that contraction within or a reaction without, process it, be objective, take responsibility for your part, heal it, forgive, be kind.

Create your boundaries. Know where you stand. Serve with grace. Love with full presence. See the mirrors in that love and do the work.

And in amongst it all, find time to rest, to be with those you love and really get clear on what you need and don't need in your life.

Love to you all.
