We have endless 'to-do' lists, we run around feeling like nothing is ever done and that there isn't enough time. Our brain and nervous systems are over-stimulated and near burnout. The world news feels overwhelming and our attention span is disappearing from over-use of technological devices.
If this resonates with you, there are some immediate steps to take:-
- Make sure you are eating fresh healthy food full of prana, vitality and nourishment
- Drink water - at least 2 litres a day
- Get much needed rest - at least 20 minutes a day.
To help you with number 3 which I see as an absolute essential in our world these days, I'm sharing this practice of Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a deep state of relaxation whilst maintaining consciousness. Amongst the many benefits, It resets the nervous system, changes the physiology of the body (for the better), allows rest and digest to happen within so that the digestive system works efficiently.
Challenge yourself to add this to your day for ONE WEEK and notice what happens... Life will change for the better.
