Practicing what I preach!

I've been a little quiet on my blog of late as I've been busy being sick! It was one of those viruses that just lingered on and made you feel rather rotten but I'm glad to say I'm feeling much better and ready to get back on the blogging game.

On another note entirely, I was at home last week trying to come up with a class plan all about acceptance and how we should stop searching for that thing to make us happy as life is right here, right now. Anyway as I was busy working on the class plan, my little girl was trying to get my attention by taking my pen, my mum was busy talking away to me and I was getting more and more impatient with them both. Didn't they realise this was one of the few moments I get to plan in peace? And then it dawned on me that I needed to take a leaf from my own book and accept that we can't always do what we want, when we expect to and that life was right there in front of me trying to get my attention.
So I put the pen down and enjoyed talking to my mum and playing with my daughter, thank you for that lesson.
